Going forward from Augustus 1,2023, we have adjusted our service areas. This means Tilburg, Hertogenbosch, and Amersfoort en Arnhem will be excluded from the service area. The remaining service areas and hubs will be open and can be used as usual. By closing the service areas in named cities, we ensure a higher density and availability in other areas and hubs, resulting in more frequent availability of cars within walking distance.
FAQ:
-
Why are service areas closing?
Over the past period, our team has spent much time carefully analyzing the demand and supply within the current Amber by MyWheels service areas. In this analysis, we have considered many factors. Based on this, we have decided to focus on areas where the demand is highest. By making this change, we prevent cars from standing idle unnecessarily and can provide a better service to as many users as possible within the focus areas by offering a larger fleet of cars. -
Could the service areas that are currently closing return in the future?
We are constantly optimizing our offerings. Therefore, adjustments may be made to the areas where our cars are available in the future. You will be the first to be informed as a user if any changes occur. -
Can I still park for free in the closed service areas?
After the closure of the service areas, you will no longer be able to park for free in these cities (Tilburg, 's Hertogenbosch, Amersfoort, and Arnhem). However, you can still travel to these cities. If you temporarily park there, don't forget to start your parking session or purchase a parking ticket. Note: If you wish to end your trip, you can only do so within the designated service area indicated in the app.
